The new team members directly strengthen Novya's core mission of transforming how European nonprofits operate by making them more effective, innovative, and energized places to achieve meaningful change.

Building Organizational Excellence from Within
Lisa Kretschmann brings over two decades of leadership and management experience in international associations to Novya's coaching and training initiatives. With a Master's degree in European Studies from Osnabrück University and an international certificate from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, Lisa served as Managing Director of the European Federation of Envelope Manufacturers and held the position of EPRC (European Paper Recycling Council) Chairperson.

Lisa's expertise in professional coaching perfectly aligns with Novya's "Building Capacity" pillar. Her coaching philosophy combines thought-provoking questions with intuitive techniques, supporting organizations to maximize their potential while staying true to their mission and purpose. She will lead the development of Novya's expanded coaching services portfolio, focusing on nonprofit upskilling and transferring essential sector-specific leadership knowledge to help organizations build sustainable internal capabilities.

Amplifying Impact Through Strategic Events
Sara Sorouri specializes in event strategy and brings deep expertise in creating impact-driven events that serve as crucial touchpoints for nonprofit outreach and financing opportunities. Her strategic approach to event management directly supports Novya's "Smart Impact" methodology, enhancing operational effectiveness and helping organizations maximize their reach and resources.

Sara's work will be instrumental in helping European nonprofits navigate the unique challenge of engaging diverse cross-border stakeholder bases—a defining characteristic that sets European organizations apart from their counterparts in other markets. Her expertise in strategic event planning addresses one of the most critical areas where European nonprofits can dramatically amplify their impact while building sustainable revenue streams.

Strengthening Novya's European Nonprofit Excellence Framework
"Lisa and Sara's combined expertise in nonprofit leadership and strategic management perfectly align with our European Nonprofit Excellence Framework," said Benita Lipps, CEO and Founder of Novya. "Their know-how in coaching and tangible event management make Novya even stronger, addressing two critical areas where European nonprofits can dramatically amplify their impact while building long-term sustainability."

Both appointments reflect Novya's continued growth trajectory as the consultancy scales its ability to serve the European nonprofit sector with specialized, evidence-based solutions designed specifically for the complex regulatory environment and resource constraints facing purpose-driven organizations across the continent.

Lisa's proven track record in international association leadership, combined with Sara's strategic event management expertise, positions Novya to offer comprehensive support spanning from organizational development to external stakeholder engagement and alternative models of revenue generation.
